Last year our Tetra Tech CEO Dan Batrack did say he wanted to take Tetra Tech international, and now it’s happening!! 

 

The largest of Tetra Tech’s recent acquisitions – ARD – is an international professional services firm of Burlington , VT and has 760 employees and 25 offices in countries as varied as Colombia , Ghana , Sri Lanka , and Macedonia .

 

This exciting acquisition means that our company is growing and expanding services around the globe – and supporting “endless opportunities” for employees and clients.

 

In a press release from last September, Dan Batrack notes, “This is Tetra Tech’s first significant step in global expansion. Strategically, this acquisition will help the company increase its professional workforce in new geographic areas and technical specialties around the world.”

 

ARD is a very interesting company, as they are actively working to make the make the world a better place through Agriculture, Governance and Institutional Development, Information and Knowledge Management, Infrastructure, Natural Resources and the Environment.

 

ARD projects have helped countries respond to a range of environmental, social, and institutional challenges.  They even prepared a white paper for the UN – “Land and Business Formalization for Legal Empowerment of the Poor” and have a program to help eradicate gender discrimination in Third world countries.
